Wouldn’t it be great to have an online tool that lets you choose an image from Pixabay and directly modify it for sharing on social media platforms? We were just talking about such a project, when the makers of Pablo approached us. We didn’t know about Pablo before – and as it turned out, that’s just what we were aiming at: a perfect and simple to use social media images editor.
What you can do with Pablo
Search an image directly from within the app and select a social media optimized size. Apply filters and effects or choose from a variety of free fonts for embedding texts. You can also upload and include your own assets, like a logo or a watermark. It’s as simple as 1-2-3 – and best of all: it’s completely free. When done, you can download your work or share it directly on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.
To make things even more efficient, there’s a selection of templates available for various purposes. And with a single click, it’s also possible to have random quotes embedded in your images. A quite handy feature, although it would be great to have an option for filtering the proposed quotes.
If you’re a Google Chrome user, there’s a Pablo browser extension available, which lets you open any image on the web directly in their social media images editor.
Pablo is using the Pixabay API for offering image search capabilities from within their app. If you’re a developer having great ideas, go ahead and play with the API. And if you have any questions, we’re here for
